Back to school shopping for the families
On 08/24 and 08/25/2026 The Odighizuwa Foundation did their back-to-school clothes shopping for the families that were selected from David Douglas School District in Portland, Oregon. We had 46 kids participate this year. It was fun watching these kids shop for clothes and shoes. After our shopping event was done, each kid received a backpack full of school supplies for the year.
Another 37 backpacks full of school supplies were given out to other students in the David Douglas School District.
We are excited to announce that we were able to expand our backpacks with school supplies this year. We partnered with Parkrose High School & Gresham High School and each received 10 backpacks with school supplies for their students.
On 9/2 and 9/3/2026 The Odighizuwa Foundation supplied 100 backpacks full of school supplies to Kipp Elementary and Middle school. The students were so excited, they lined up to take photos with Abieyuwa Odighizuwa, our CEO and proud mother of the Odighizuwa family.
